Seabourn, the leader in ultra-luxury voyages and expedition travel, is inviting travellers to explore the lands of Africa with its 90-day Grand Africa Voyage, featuring a newly modified itinerary that will take travellers to the East, South, and West Coasts of the continent.

Changes were made to the original itinerary to prioritise the safety of guests and to avoid the Red Sea while designing a new extraordinary itinerary that keeps the original length of the cruise with in-depth exploration of the African continent with only one repeat port.

Seabourn Sojourn will still sail roundtrip from Barcelona departing on 30 November 2024. The new itinerary includes visits to 42 marquee and off-the-beaten-path destinations and cities in 20 countries, with seven overnight stays.

‘I am so delighted for our guests, as I feel our deployment team did an amazing job crafting this modified Grand Africa Voyage that provides ample opportunities for our guests to discover Africa’s stunning natural wonders and diverse cultures’, said Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn. ‘This 90-day itinerary with 42 ports is Seabourn’s most in-depth Africa experience that I know so many guests are looking forward to’.

The Grand Africa Voyage will provide a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience, where guests can explore Africa’s natural beauty via safari, hikes, scuba, snorkelling and other enriching cultural experiences, such as a visit to a camel milk farm, botanical gardens, living archaeological museums, and more.

In addition, several optional multi-day Seabourn Journeys will be available at various destinations, offering in-depth opportunities to explore treasured sites on land that cannot be accessed on single-day excursions from the ship, including a gorilla sanctuary, Victoria Falls, and more.

Seabourn Sojourn will visit a blend of historically profound destinations on its Grand Africa Voyage. Highlights include luscious, tropical paradises such as the Seychelles; lands with breathtaking, diverse landscapes and wildlife such as Madagascar and Zanzibar; and culturally rich destinations such as Cape Town, Morocco and Mozambique.
