This week will see over 20,000 copies of the brand-new Avalon Waterways brochure hitting the desks of travel agents, sales teams and the wider industry across the UK.

The new printed brochure is the first in four years from Avalon Waterways and comes as a direct result of travel agents and consumers asking for a print product they can easily explore, be inspired by, and use to discover new adventures.

With every Avalon Waterways itinerary detailed including an extensive day by day breakdown, easy reference page, full deck plans and a European Rivers map, the brochure sits at 115 beautifully designed pages and is the only thing agents will need to find the perfect river cruise for their customers.

Additionally, the back cover of the brochure highlights to consumers the benefits of booking with travel agents, the value of agents and has a clear call to action as to how to book through an agent.

As commented by Janet Parton, Sales and Marketing Director of Avalon Waterways, “Agents are a top priority for us at Avalon Waterways and this new brochure highlights not only the value we see in agents and the work they do every day but also serves as a tool for them to be able to easily see what’s on offer and find the right river cruise for their customers. Agents asked us to bring back our brochure and it’s our pleasure to fulfil their wish.”

2023 and 2024 are significant years for Avalon Waterways as the river cruise company continues to grow and expand in line with their customers wants and needs. This can be seen in anything from increased Active & Discover itineraries inline with a desire for increased health and fitness focused products to ever evolving sustainability efforts and prioritisation.

New for 2024, Avalon Waterways has a new route on the Douro River and a brand-new ship for the route currently being built. The Avalon AlegriaSM (meaning happiness in Portuguese) is the newest Suite ShipSM and has 14 deluxe staterooms and 37 Panorama SuitesSM. The Alegria will carry a capacity of just 102 passengers, giving guests ample space to relax and savour the spectacular panoramas of Portugal’s Douro River.
