Amadeus River Cruises has partnered with specialist music and cruise operator, Harmony Voyages, to offer an exclusive jazz cruise on the Rhone featuring the award-winning singer/song writer and saxophonist Curtis Stigers, along with Peter Long, leader of the iconic Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, and the Harmony Voyages House Jazz Band.

Curtis Stigers first appeared on the scene in the early 90s with hit songs ‘I Wonder Why’ and ‘You´re all that Matters to Me’ which have become soul classics over the years.

Over the years, he has performed and recorded with Eric Clapton, Elton John, Prince, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, George Benson, The Allman Brothers Band and many more.

He recently sung and co-composed the theme tune to cult television series Sons of Anarchy, for which he was also nominated for an Emmy.

He has performed at most major jazz festivals and iconic jazz clubs around the world and is a regular at concert halls on both sides of the Atlantic.

In addition to a very special one-off performance by Curtis Stigers, guests will be treated to top quality musical entertainment including ‘A History of Jazz’, an evening of music from Frank Sinatra to Ella Fitzgerald, a night filled with Latin, Funk  Blues, and a request-only night.

The seven-night cruise round trip from Lyon takes place onboard the five-star, 140-guest AMADEUS Provence with calls in Macon, Chalon-Sur-Saon, Tournus, Lyon, Avignon, Arles, Chateauneuf-Du-Rhone and Le Pouzin.

The cruise departs 15th August 2024 with prices from £1,899 per person including all meals, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, onboard entertainment and musical performances, use of bicycles for independent exploration, WiFi and port fees.
