We will be going a bit dark for the next 10-11 days as we venture to Lisbon, Portugal before boarding Azamara Journey for our second cruise with them. This cruise is for 7 days visiting Madeira and some of the beautiful Canary Islands.

For those who haven’t had the pleasure of sailing with Azamara Cruises, they are a hidden gem (so don’t shout about them too loudly!) where service, destination and luxury all go as standard. The fleet offers 4 ships, we previously cruised on Pursuit (see photographs) and only need to visit Quest and Onward for the full set!
If you need any info about Azamara (or cruising in general), just drop us a message, we can talk all day long about cruising.

The Cruise News gangway will be removed on Friday 13th March 2026 and we will be reconnecting to shore supply on Tuesday 24th March 2026 duly refreshed, 3 stones heavier but very very relaxed.
Normal service will then be resumed, onwards towards our next 1000 Cruise News posts and thank you to everyone that has taken time to subscribe, view our posts, you are all very much appreciated.
