Crystal announced today the next sailing in its celebrated ‘Crystal on Broadway’ series, a voyage pairing world-class cruising with the artistry of key Broadway notables, including exceptional performances and a special workshop of “Ever After The Musical”.
The sailing will depart from New York (Bayonne) on 31st October 2025 onboard Crystal Serenity, offering guests a fall foliage spectacle along the New England and Canada coast.
The nine-day voyage will call in Newport, Provincetown, Boston, Portland and Saint John, New Brunswick, before returning to New York on 8th November 2025.

Among the Broadway artists joining the sailing are:
- Kevin McCollum, Tony Award-winning Broadway producer of “RENT”, “Avenue Q” and “In the Heights”, as well as stage productions of “Mrs Doubtfire” and “The Devil Wears Prada”.
- Sierra Boggess, celebrated Broadway star known for “The Little Mermaid”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Harmony” and “School of Rock”, as well as “Love Never Dies” (Olivier Award nomination) and “Les Misérables” in the West End.
- Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the award-winning lyricist/composer duo behind “Ever After The Musical”. Their past work includes “The Great American Mousical”, written by Julie Andrews and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton, a special connection as Andrews is godmother to Crystal Serenity. Together, Heisler and Goldrich bring a celebrated Broadway pedigree to Crystal.
- Marlo Hunter, award-winning director and choreographer of “Ever After The Musical”, was recently named a ‘Woman to Watch’ on Broadway by the Broadway Women’s Fund. Her work spans acclaimed theatres including Second Stage, Roundabout and Williamstown Theatre Festival, with credits in both stage and film.
Programming includes:
- Mainstage Performance with Sierra Boggess: Guests will enjoy a cabaret-style concert by Boggess, accompanied by Crystal Serenity’s talented showband.
- “Ever After The Musical” Workshop: Heisler, Goldrich and Hunter will present songs from the new musical alongside Broadway star Sierra Boggess, followed by a Q&A session. Based on the much-loved 1998 film, the show reimagines the Cinderella story with a spirited, independent heroine and a message of empowerment. Still in development and coming to Broadway, “Ever After The Musical” is in the pivotal creative stage where songs, storylines and staging evolve before reaching the stage. Crystal guests will enjoy rare insider access to this process, guided by the award-winning creative team as they share the artistry and collaboration behind bringing a Broadway musical to life.
- Special Performance with Marcy Heisler & Zina Goldrich: The writers of “Ever After The Musical” will perform a piano-and-vocal show reminiscent of New York’s iconic 54 Below, featuring works from their celebrated careers.
Keith Cox, Crystal’s vice president of entertainment, comments: “Our ‘Crystal on Broadway’ voyages are designed to bring the magic of Broadway directly to our guests. “From world-class performances to exclusive insight into the creation of a new musical, this sailing highlights the unique opportunities that set Crystal apart as the pinnacle of exceptional experiences and culture at sea.”
