This January saw Marella Cruises achieve its best weekend for passenger bookings during January 10-12, 2025.

This period, sometimes dubbed the ‘Sunshine Weekend’, saw record-breaking passenger numbers, surpassing any other weekend in the line’s history.

The success marks a significant milestone for Marella Cruises, indicating strong demand for their cruise offering in the new year.

The cruise line, part of TUI, was up over 7% year on year in passenger bookings during this special weekend in January.

These bookings were made from both TUI retail store and independent travel agents as well as online and app bookings.

The top cruising destinations for their customers has also been revealed with Palma, Spain topping the list for Summer 2025 followed by Dubrovnik, Corfu and Limassol (flying into Paphos) across the fleet of five ships sailing that season.
