Marella Cruises has two new ports for Marella Discovery in winter 2025, with Isla Catalina, Dominican Republic and Ponce, Puerto Rico starting from 16th December 2025.

This will be the first time Marella Cruises will be porting in Ponce, Puerto Rico and Isla Catalina in the Dominican Republic. The winter itineraries will go on sale from 18th July 2024, offering more choice for customers in different destinations around the world, with 167 hotels available for cruise & stay guests, operated from 14 airports across the UK.

The new ports of call for Marella Discovery will be on the ‘Tropical Isles’ itinerary which will start from La Romana, Dominican Republic, visiting San Jean, Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Islands, and Fredriksted, US Virgin Islands, before porting in Ponce, Puerto Rico and Isla Catalina, and returning to La Romana.

In addition, there will be sailings from the 8th January 2026 on Marella Discovery 2 ‘Exotic Islands’ itinerary, visiting Barbados, St Lucia, Aruba, Curacao and Grenada.

There will be new overnight onboard stays available in Willemstad, Curacao and cruise & stay options available in Hilton Barbados Resort in Needhams Point and Radisson Aquatica in Hastings, Barbados.

On the ‘Island Explorer’ itinerary sailings from November 28th 2025, visiting Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Madeira and La Palma, on Marella Voyager and adults-only ship, Marella Explorer 2, guests can choose to sail from either Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and have an overnight stay in port at Funchal, Madeira.

Customers can celebrate sailing into 2026 in style with our New Year’s sailings on the Marella Voyager. The new year sailing will include the spectacle of the Madeira firework display on the ‘A New Year’s Dream’ itinerary, which will visit: Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Madeira and Gran Canaria, with a cruise & stay offer in Tenerife and Gran Canaria available.
